The year 2013 still has a lot to offer anime-wise. A lot of updates are to be seen this Fall and Winter; from sequels to second seasons, from new anime series to Ovas and, of course, movies. I will be bringing you up to date with a list of what is to come these next months, but I will mention only the most interesting looking anime series, because, I’m sure that is what you are all interested in.

So, let’s start with the months September to November a.k.a. Fall:

Diabolik Lovers

If you like vampires, then this anime will be your cup of tea, because the story centers around six sadistic vampires, and a girl, in her second year of highschool that ends up living with them. I can’t wait to see how the situation develops!

IS <Infinite Stratos> 2

This is a sequel to the Infinite Stratos series.
The dominant warfare tool in this world is Infinite Stratos (IS) – an exoskeleton system used as a weapon. The only drawback to it is that only women are able to operate it. One of the very few exceptions is Ichika Orimura; an orphan that was raised by his older sister, a famou
s IS pilot. When his ability to use IS is discovered, he receives a scholarship to a school that specializes in training IS pilots.

Ryuuko Matoi and Satsuki Kiryuuin are two powerful fighting schoolgirls in a campus where force dominates. Suddenly, a transfer student appears wielding a Basami sword and makes things right.

Kuroko no Basuke Second Season

This is one of my favorite anime series and I’m really psyched about this second season. It is about a legendary high school basketball player known as “the sixth phantom player of the Generation of Miracles”. After meeting Taiga Kagami, the mysterious phantom player decides to become his shadow in order to help him become Japan’s greatest basketball player. You will understand what it is about much better after seeing the anime. I highly recommend it if you haven’t seen it already.

Galilei Donna

This is a story about three female descendants of the Italian astronomer Galileo, who are on the international wanted list. Very little information is known about this anime.

Kakumeiki Valverave Second Season

An era where 70% of the human race lives in space thanks to the development of space cities. JIOR, a small neutral nation that has a good economic balance, stands between two major forces. HarutoTokishima, one of JIOR’s high school students encounters the mysterious humanoid weapon “Valvrave” when one of the major forces mentioned, tries to invade them.

Neppu Kairiku Bushiroad

There is very little information on this one.  All that it is known is that it will be a mecha anime with the story set 500 years in the future.

These are some of the most interesting anime series set to make their appearance sometime this Fall. Now let us see what Winter has to offer:

Vividred Operation

This anime series has as its protagonist a 14 year old girl who lives with her little sister and her grandfather. This is a science fiction action type of anime that targets the female audience so, yay!

Doki Doki! Precure

This is the 10th television series in the Precure magical girl anime franchise.

So, these are the new anime series that will make their way into our otaku hearts this Fall and Winter. They all look pretty cool, and I hope they won’t disappoint us. As you have probably noticed, Winter will be focusing more on us girls, rather than the boys, which is great because we could use more attention. Am I right? Of course I am.

Now then, boys and girls, until these promising anime creations will make their appearance, we should all keep our cursors ready and our Internet connection healthy so that we will be ready to cry, laugh and feel the suspense that these new series will give us. Matane! (Which is Japanese for “See you!” but I’m sure you knew that)
