So here we are 8 months after the launch of Fallen Manga Studios website (wow its been 8 months!?) and I sit here looking at what has happened since then. Some new projects started, some imploded before they took off and others are in the process of being drawn. We have been featured in an Online Magazine called Abstraks (check it out here). They featured different artists who are apart of Fallen Manga Studios and interviewed them. It was very cool and a huge deal for us to actually be making some headway in the vast ocean that is the online world. We had our Anime reviewer drop out, that is why you haven’t seen anymore of the reviews being promoted. 🙁
Yes it stinks but I will find someone to take up that mantle eventually. We are featured on a few more up and coming sites, Tapastic was one I thought was going to be a huge push for us but it just didn’t really click all that well for us. We are on Crunchyroll now which really cool since they are doing loads of work for anime in the west and that is a cool thing to be apart of. Not sure where that is going to lead but it can’t hurt to be associated with them. We are doing some steady sales over on Kindle which is helping our artists hang in there with the current projects. But we need some help, our artists deserve to get some reward for these amazing comics.
There is a new site called Komikia and they are paying for page views. What I want is for us to utterly explode over there and you guys get to read out comics for free. How sweet is that? Also I have gotten a very unique opportunity to write my own Saga and have it drawn by a team of artists. I will be releasing info about this in the weeks to come so stay tuned about this amazing adventure. The last thing I would like to talk about is that Fallen Manga Studios will have a title released in Japan and translated into Japanese! A Japanese publisher has contacted us and wants to use one of our comics in their early lineup of western comics that will be released! Hopefully later this year but it could end up being early 2014. As we get more info to share we will be letting you all know. Thanks for following us and supporting our company in any way you can.
